Dawn Bennett, Executive Director

Since 2009 Dawn has set out to eliminate the school-to-prison pipeline through education, advocacy, and action. Dawn continues to work with teens and is the vice president of Washington's Paramount Duty, to get equity and fairness in education funding. She was also a Board Member of the UW School of Social Work, Communities in Action Initiative.

 

Emijah Smith, Community Advocacy and Impact Manager

Emijah is a savvy strategist advocating for children, families, and community. She works on public policy efforts with a racial equity lens to combat structural racism, with an emphasis on education advocacy and criminal justice reform.

 

Jolyn GC, Program & Operations Director

Jolyn is a former King County Criminal Prosecuting Attorney, recipient of the 2018 Seattle Office of Arts and Culture CityArtist Award, Instructional Designer of racial equity-based, trauma-informed, social justice framework curriculum and program development for youth and adults, and serves as a Washington State Arts Commissioner.
